Yeongju

Getting there
Yeongju is on the central rail line from Seoul and also served by intercity bus. From the Yeongju bus terminal, a local bus reaches Buseoksa, and a separate Sunheung-bound bus (about 30 minutes, several times daily) drops you at Sosu Seowon.
Best season
Autumn is the classic time, when foliage surrounds the cliffside Buseoksa halls; late autumn into winter can pair colour with snow on the old wooden buildings.
