Soju is a clear, distilled spirit traditionally made from rice (now mostly sweet potato or tapioca). Always served in 360ml green glass bottles. Drunk in small shot-glasses. The world's bestselling distilled liquor.

Origin

Mongol invasion of Goryeo Dynasty (~1276). Distillation came from Persia via Mongols.
